In a film's opening title sequence, we expect to see, the company name then the director then the screenplay and producer, producers names, once this is shown then the actors and crews names are shown. There is usually music playing in the background while the credits are shown then this will be replaced by dialogue leading into the film. The openings are either blank animated or part of the film.
In The cabin in the woods, the company name is shown first(LIONSGATE) in serif format with a still image of blood red clouds in the background, then we are shown blood pouring with moving images inside the blood with people being killed. Then the producers names are shown, then the distributor, then we are brought into the film with charterers exchanging dialogue then the film name popping up suddenly in bold capitals with a scream in the background, after this the actors names are shown as they pop up and the crews names, then the D.O.P's names, executive producers names and who it is produced by and written by and lastly the directors name. All credits were shown in blood to show danger.
